Koh Kood

The remote island of Koh Kood is a natural paradise with palm-fringed white beaches, turquoise, crystal clear water, untouched jungle, waterfalls and much more. It is located in the Gulf of Thailand, near the Cambodian borders, and therefore it has neither mass tourism, nor party hustle and bustle - but instead tranquility and lots of nature.

Singles, couples, families with children, as well as snorkelers and divers vacation here. The still largely undeveloped island has about 2,500 inhabitants, is the fourth largest island in Thailand and is the perfect choice for those who want to make a relaxing vacation in nature.

Discover the island

On Koh Kood you have the opportunity to discover nature in all its facets. The largely untouched rainforest fills the center of the island, mangroves line the rivers and breathtaking waterfalls and ancient trees are hidden in the depths of the jungle.

The island has many beautiful palm beaches with fine white sand, clear turquoise waters and lovely bays, mainly on the west coast - where our bungalows are located. Some of these beautiful beaches are Klong Chao, Bang Bao, Ao Tapao and Ao Phrao.

On the east side of the island there are two authentic fishing villages. The island also scores with many good restaurants with Thai and Western cuisine and a few nice bars for a relaxing evening.

Activities on Koh Kood

If you want to get to know the underwater world of Koh Kood, there are renowned diving schools that offer all courses including "Discover Scuba Diving" for beginners. They depart daily for dives to the nearby islands to Koh Rang (Marine Park) or to the wreck of HTMS Chang. We will arrange bookings for you if you so wish.

Snorkeling trips can also be made with the dive boats. There are also many other excursion options with local speed boats. You can go fishing on the boats, too. Kayaks are another good way to explore the island from the water. They cost about 100 to 150 Thai baht ($ 3 - $ 5) per hour.
